Ulli Mair

Ulli Mair (born September 11, 1974 in Bolzano ) is an Italian ( South Tyrolean ) politician of the party " Die Freiheitlichen ".

Life

Mair studied political science, contemporary history and media studies at the University of Innsbruck , but did not obtain a degree. In 2001 she became general secretary of the "Freedom Party" after having been on the party executive since 1999. In the state elections in 2003 , she was able to move into the South Tyrolean state parliament for the first time and thus also the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol . In the state elections in 2008 Mair was re-elected with 27,500 preferential votes. She achieved the same in the state elections in 2013 with 31,171 preferential votes. From 2012 to 2014 Mair was the chairwoman of the Freedom Party. In the 2018 state elections , she won a fourth seat with 9,030 preferential votes.
