Ulrich Anacker

Ulrich Anacker (born April 15, 1944 in Peine ; † March 2, 2018 ), probably with full name Hans-Ulrich Anacker , was a German philosopher .

Life

Anacker attended elementary school in Nörvenich from 1950 to 1954 , the humanistic grammar school in Düren from 1954 to 1958 and then the St. Michael grammar school in Münstereifel until 1963 . He then studied German, theology and philosophy at the universities of Frankfurt a. M. and Tübingen. With a work on the problem of identity , he was in 1969 at the University of Frankfurt a. M. with Wolfgang Cramer as Dr. phil. PhD. Subsequently, he was a lecturer for dialectical philosophy at the University of Munich. His habilitation thesis, accepted by the University of Cologne in 1973, is entitled Nature and Intersubjectivity . In the foreword of the study he thanked Jürgen Habermas , Hermann Krings and Hans Radermacher “for the suggestions and criticism with which they supported this work.” In 1976 he was appointed lecturer in sociological anthropology at the TH Aachen. Anacker later taught as a professor of philosophy at the University of Cologne. He worked for the handbook of basic philosophical concepts , for which he wrote the articles history (together with Hans Michael Baumgartner ), subject and reason . In 1978 he took part in the symposium Norms and History organized by Willi Oelmüller . His last position was at the Institute for Philosophy of Education, Anthropology and Pedagogy and retired in September 2009.

He was buried in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne .
