Ulrich Lind (born November 4, 1942 in Heilbronn ) is a former German sports shooter who competed for the Federal Republic of Germany.

Ulrich Lind from the Heilbronn rifle guild was the 1971 German champion with the carpenter . In qualifying for the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal in the prone position with the small- bore rifle , Karlheinz Smieszek and Ulrich Lind won 2381 rings in four competitions. In 1977 Lind won the European Championship in Bucharest in the three-position battle, Lind won the team championship together with Smieszek and Oswald Schlipf; in the prone position, Lind achieved the silver medal and won bronze with the team together with Smieszek and Werner Seibold . At the 1978 World Cup in Seoul, Lind finished third in the three-position battle behind the American Lanny Bassham and the British Malcolm Cooper . In the team competition, Lind, Seibold and Smieszek together with Gottfried Kustermann received the silver medal. Kurt Hillenbrand , Lind, Seibold and Smieszek won silver in the prone position . Four years later, Seibold and Lind, together with Peter Heinz and Hubert Bichler, formed the team that received the silver medal in the prone position at the World Cup in Caracas. In 1982, Lind also set a German record with 600 rings in the prone position. After an eighth place in the prone position at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, Lind qualified again for the Olympic Games in 1988 , but this time only achieved 28th place.
