Ulrich Nersinger

Ulrich Nersinger (* 1957 in Eschweiler ) is a German journalist who specializes in reporting from the Vatican (Vaticanist).

Life

He studied philosophy and theology in Bonn , Sankt Augustin , Vienna and Rome . He then graduated from the Pontificio Istituto di Archeologia Cristiana and the Congregation for the Causes of Saints . At the Roman Curia, Nersinger acquired the qualification to work as postulator , deputy postulator and diocesan examining magistrate in processes of beatification and canonization . He is a member of the Pontificia Accademia Cultorum Martyrum and is mainly active as a journalist and writer today. He often writes articles for the Osservatore Romano , the Vatican magazine , kath.net and the magazine Der Schweizergardist .
