Ulrich Storost

Ulrich Storost (* 1946 in Gelsenkirchen ) was a judge at the Federal Administrative Court .

After completing his studies in Bochum and Berlin and the subsequent legal clerkship , Storost initially worked as a scientist at the University of Administrative Sciences Speyer from 1975 and then became a judge at the Berlin Administrative Court in 1977 . From 1979 to 1982 he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant . From October 1982 he worked at the Neustadt an der Weinstrasse administrative court; in 1983 he moved to the Rhineland-Palatinate Higher Administrative Court as a judge . Storost was appointed judge at the Federal Administrative Court in 1991. He was initially a member of the 5th Revision Senate, from 1993 the 11th and later the 9th Revision Senate.

In addition to his work at the Federal Administrative Court, Storost was Vice President of the Constitutional Court of the State of Berlin from 1997 to 2004 .

In October 2004 Storost was appointed presiding judge at the Federal Administrative Court. The Presidium had given him the chairmanship of the 9th Revision Senate. He retired at the end of September 2011.

Storost is married and has two children.
