Ulrich Viefers (born May 26, 1972 in Oberhausen ) is a former rower who won an Olympic silver medal in eighth place in 1996.

Ulrich Viefers started for the rowing club on Lake Baldeney . In 1993 he won the German championship with the four-man with helmsman in the line-up of Stefan Forster , Mark Kleinschmidt , Ulrich Viefers, Marc Weber and helmsman Guido Groß and took third place at the world championship.
