Marc Weber (born March 21, 1972 in Bochum ) is a former rower who won an Olympic silver medal in eighth place in 1996.

Weber started for the Berlin rowing club . In 1993 he won the German championship with the four-man with helmsman in the line-up of Stefan Forster , Mark Kleinschmidt , Ulrich Viefers , Marc Weber and helmsman Guido Groß and took third place in the world championship. In 1994 Weber sat in the four without a helmsman and finished sixth at the world championship. In 1995 Weber won the title in the four with a helmsman together with Forster, Detlef Kirchhoff , Roland Baar and helmsman Peter Thiede . In 1998 and 1999 Marc Weber won the German championship title twice. At the 1998 World Championships in Cologne he was involved in winning the silver medal as a batsman. At the 1999 World Cup, the German eighth with Ike Landvoigt on strike missed the qualification for the 2000 Olympic Games.

Marc Weber won the legendary Boat Race 1998 as the batsman of the Cambridge eighth . This team still holds (as of 2010) the record for the fastest time ever rowed in this race.
