Gregor Hauffe (born May 20, 1982 in Magdeburg ) is a German oarsman. With the Germany eighth he was world champion three times in a row from 2009 to 2011.

Gregor Hauffe started at the beginning of his career for RV Emscher Wanne-Eickel Herten and won the 1996 national competition for children's rowers. He later moved to RTHC Bayer Leverkusen . After success in the age group of under 23-year-olds, he competed in a world championship in the adult class for the first time in 2005 and was twelfth in the four without a helmsman. The following year, at the World Championships in Milan, Hauffe competed in a four-man without a helmsman , winning the silver medal together with Toni Seifert , Urs Buyer and Filip Adamski . This boat finished ninth at the 2007 World Rowing Championships in Munich and also qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games , where it finished sixth.

In the post-Olympic season 2009 Gregor Hauffe competed with the Germany eighth and won the title at the world championships . In 2010, Hauffe was eighth European and world champion. Born in Magdeburg, he secured his third world championship title with the flagship of the German Rowing Association at the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Slovenia.

In parallel to his sporting career, Gregor Hauffe successfully completed training as a law enforcement officer at the Federal Police Sports School in Kienbaum . At the same time as completing his vocational training in February 2014, he ended his sporting career and from now on works as a law enforcement officer at a federal police station .

On November 3, 2017, he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf for his athletic achievements .
