Toni Seifert (born April 14, 1981 in Dresden ) is a former German oarsman. In 2009 and 2010 Seifert won the world championship with the eighth .

Toni Seifert started for the RTHC Bayer Leverkusen . After success in the age group of under 23-year-olds, he competed in the adult class for the first time in 2005 at world championships. Together with Matthias Flach , Johannes Doberschütz , Falk Müller and helmsman Martin Sauer , he took third place in the four with helmsman in Gifu . In 2006 in Milan, Seifert competed in a four without a helmsman , together with Gregor Hauffe , Urs Buyer and Filip Adamski he won the silver medal. This boat took ninth place at the 2007 World Rowing Championships in Munich and also qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games . After Seifert and Adamski fell ill at the Olympic Games after the preliminary run, they had to be replaced for the final. A year later, the four from 2008 formed the core of the new Germany eight . The new eight won the title at the 2009 and 2010 World Rowing Championships . In 2011 Seifert returned to the four, with which he finished sixth at the 2012 Olympic Games . Seifert won his last international medal at the 2013 European Championships. In November 2015 Seifert ended his competitive sports career.

Toni Seifert was a member of the Bundeswehr's sports promotion group and is a qualified sports manager.
