Jörg Puttlitz (born August 25, 1962 in Hagen ) is a German rower . Puttlitz was part of the Ruhr Vierer , one of the world's best boats in the four-man boat class in the 1980s .

Sporting development

As a rower from the Hansa rowing club from 1898 (Dortmund), he began rowing in 1976 and rowed in the same boat with his club mate Norbert Keßlau in the youth sector . In 1983, Puttlitz and Keßlau moved to the Witten brothers Guido and Volker Grabow in the four-man coached by Günter Petersmann .
