Alexei Dmitrijewitsch Kamkin ( Russian Алексей Дмитриевич Камкин ; born October 15, 1952 in Kaliningrad ) is a former Soviet rower .

The 1.87 m tall Kamkin from VS Leningrad formed a new Soviet four-man without a helmsman in the 1980 season together with Valeri Dolinin , Alexander Kulagin and Vitaly Jelissejew . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , these four rowers received the silver medal behind the GDR boat. The following year, the Soviet four-man in the same line-up won the 1981 World Championships in Munich, ahead of the Swiss and the boat from the GDR. In 1982 in Lucerne, the Swiss took revenge in front of a home crowd, they won against the Soviet foursome.
