Giuseppe Vicino (born February 26, 1993 in Naples ) is an Italian rower .

Career

Giuseppe Vicino started rowing in 2005. With the Italian eighth he won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in 2009 . At the Junior World Championships in 2010 he also won the bronze medal with the eighth. In 2011 Vicino was Junior World Champion with the eighth at the Junior World Championships 2011 and in the same year won the silver medal in the four-man without a helmsman at the U23 World Championships . At the U23 World Championships in 2012, he won the bronze medal in double sculls , and in the adult class, he received the silver medal with the Italian eighth at the European Championships in 2012 . In 2013 he finished sixth at the European Championships with the four-man without a helmsman, at the World Championships the boat with Paolo Perino , Mario Paonessa and Matteo Lodo, which had been relocated at the European Championships , came fourth.

After he had not competed in any international competitions in 2018, he finished fourth with Giovanni Abagnale at the 2019 European Championships in two-man without a helmsman. At the 2019 World Championships , he and his old partner Matteo Lodo also took fourth place in the two-man without helmsman.
