The Ulsterberg is 487.4  m above sea level. NHN high, wooded mountain in the center of the community of Unterbreizbach in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The Ulsterberg lies between Räsa in the north, Sünna in the east, Hüttenroda in the south-south-east, Mühlwärts in the south-south-west and Pferdsdorf in the west-north-west. In terms of nature, it is part of the Auersberger Kuppenrhön . The conical mountain forms the watershed between the catchment areas of the Ulster and Oechse rivers (with the Sünna tributary on the left ).

On its slopes there are arable terraces and pastures that have been preserved from medieval times. A circular hiking trail opens up the mountain with its viewpoints.
