Ulstrupfeld ( Danish : Ulstrupmark ) is a place whose northern part forms a district of the Glücksburg municipality and the southern, smaller part of which is a district of the Wees municipality .

The "Straße Ulstrupfeld" begins at the village of Ulstrup , which is located directly to the south and after 600 meters leads to the actual village of Ulstrupfeld. The houses at Ulstrupfeld 1–11 at the entrance to the village still belong to Wees. Behind this is the much larger Glücksburg district of Ulstrupfeld. In the east the district is bordered by the Rüder See and in the west by the Tremmeruper forest . In the north, the Uferstraße coming from Flensburg - Mürwik borders the district.
history
The name is based on the neighboring place Ulstrup . Obviously, Ulsturpfeld was originally a field area of the said village. At the time of the Rudekloster near Ulstrupfeld, in the Glücksburg area, there was possibly already the stern kate “Stagesheck” or “Stakettkoppelheck”. Whereby the not far located Heckkate closed tail is said to have originated at least in the 16th century. In the 17th century the settlement Ulstrupfeld already two Ulstruper was skating and said Glücksburger stern Kate. In 1780 Ulstrupfeld continued to consist of these three cottages. In 1961 there were already more than two hundred people living in Ulstrupfeld. Since then, Ulstrupfeld has been steadily expanded. Ulstrupfeld can now be reached by the Glücksburg bus line (line 21).
