Verdi's action stage under the motto “RE-FAIR - Taxing Wealth” in Georgstrasse in Hanover

Umfairteile is an alliance of numerous trade unions , social associations and non-governmental organizations in Germany that was founded in 2012 and campaigns for the so-called tax on the rich . The central coordination office is based at the United Services Union ver.di in Berlin .

Action day 2012

As the largest event so far, the alliance organized a nationwide day of action on September 29, 2012 under the motto “RE-FAIR - Taxing Wealth”, at which around 40,000 people in 40 cities demonstrated, among other things, for a fairer distribution of wealth in Germany.
