Umutcan Yüksel (born January 1, 1992 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper .

Career

society

Yüksel was born in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul and started his professional career in 1997 at the most famous sports club in his home district, Bakırköyspor . Here he established himself as a regular goalkeeper in two years. In 2002 he moved to city rivals Gaziosmanpaşaspor and played here until the summer of 2004. Then the second division side Sivasspor signed him . At this club, he did not get beyond the reserve role, but ended the season with his team as the second division champion and thus rose to the 1st league , the highest Turkish division. In the second half of the 2005/06 season his club first loaned him to the second division Mardinspor and gave him to this club at the end of the season.

He played for Mardinspor until the summer of 2008. This was followed by the stations Şanlıurfaspor , Korfez Belediyespor and Göztepe Izmir . With the latter he ended the third division season 2010/11 as champion of the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig .

After the rise with Göztepe, Yükselzum moved on to third division Balıkesirspor . He was also with this club in the third division season 2014/15 champion and rose to the TFF 1st Lig. For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to Çine Madranspor and for the 2016/17 season to Afjet Afyonspor .

National team

Yüksel began his national team career in October 2007 with an assignment for the Turkish U-16 national team . He then played for the U-15 and U-17 national teams in his country.
