The União das Freguesias de Mazedo e Cortes is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Monção in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Mazedo and Cortes . Mazedo became the seat of the new administration.
