The União das Freguesias de Monção e Troviscoso is a Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Monção in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Monção and Troviscoso . Monção became the seat of the new administration.
