The União das Freguesias de Parada do Monte e Cubalhão is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Melgaço in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities Parada do Monte and Cubalhão . Parada do Monte became the seat of the new administration.
