The União das Freguesias de Castro Laboreiro e Lamas de Mouro is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) Melgaço in northwestern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Castro Laboreiro and Lamas de Mouro . Castro Laboreiro became the seat of the new administration.
