The União das Freguesias de Querença, Tôr e Benafim , or Querença for short , Tôr e Benafim is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Loulé on the Algarve coast in southern Portugal .

history

The municipality was created in 2012, in the run-up to the regional reform of September 29, 2013 , by merging the former municipalities of Querença , Tôr and Benafim . Querença became the seat of the new administration.
