The Tigers Sports Club (mostly just Tigers ) is a Namibian sports club from Windhoek . The association was founded in 1927.
Soccer
The football department under the name Tigers Football Club (Tigers FC) was founded in 1942 and plays in the Namibia Premier League . It held the name “United Africa Tigers” until WesBank took over sponsorship , and since then it has been called “Wesbank Tigers FC”. The Tigers became the country's soccer champions for the second time since 1985 in the 2015-16 season .
