The Citizens FC (usually only Citizens ) is a football club from Windhoek - Katutura in Namibia . Home stadium is the Sam Nujoma Stadium . The Citizens were known as Monitronics Success College FC until 2012 . The club is owned by Dawid Goagoseb .
The club rose from the Namibia Second Division to the Namibia First Division in the 2012/2013 season . In the following season ( 2013/2014 ) he was promoted again to the Namibia Premier League , the top division in Namibian football.
In the Namibian Cup competition in 2014 , the Citizens reached the final.
