NFA Cup 2013

The NFA Cup 2014 ( Bidvest Namibia Cup ) of the Namibian club soccer teams takes place from February to June 2014. The Namibian Cup competition is organized by the Namibia Football Association and sponsored again by Bidvest Namibia under the name Bidvest Namibia Cup . As in the previous year, the winners were the African Stars .

Prize money of N $ 550,000 for the cup winner, N $ 220,000 for the runner-up and N $ 115,000 each for the two losers of the semi-finals will be distributed.

Game mode

There are 32 teams in the knockout system in the final round . Before that, the participating clubs in the second division and third division (each in the regions) must qualify in elimination tournaments.

Participating teams

The twelve teams of the Namibia Premier League 2013/14 as well as the previous year's finalist of the NFA Cup for the first time (previously the two relegated teams from the previous season of the Namibia Premier League were always qualified for the finals) automatically take part in the 2014 NFA Cup.

In addition, there are a total of three teams from the two "Northern Stream" and two from the "Southern Stream" of the Namibia First Division (2nd division) and one team each from the 13 regional 3rd leagues ( Second Division ). Due to the division of the Kavango region into the Kavango East and Kavango West regions , two teams from the Kavango region take part.
