A group of children drives the Rasender Roland towards the Baltic Sea . The children of Rügen especially like to ride it because it rolls leisurely through the landscape, so that you can take a look at the area and reach many worthwhile destinations.
The first stop on this journey is the Granitz hunting lodge with its four small towers at the corners and the large 38 meter high tower in the middle of the building. Not far away are the cutters of the fish combine , which mainly catch herring with their trawls , which are also processed on site. Rostock II was shot on ORWO-Color by the DEFA Artistic Working Group (KAG) real evening greeting production for the series Städtebilder as a result of the film series Our Sandman and it was first broadcast on GDR television on August 6, 1976 . The first demonstrable performance on a big screen took place on December 15, 2019 in the Berlin Zeughauskino .
