The Unspitze (also Uhnspitze ) is a 1,926 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps . It is located in the Kleinwalsertal west of the village of Baad and is their local mountain. To the east of Baad, the Unspitz towering directly behind the town is an impressive sight. The height of the Unspitze is at least 66 meters, its dominance 700 meters, with the Hochstarzel being the reference mountain in each case .

Ascent

There are no marked paths leading to the Unspitze. It can be reached without a path over exposed ridges both from the east and from the west, whereby both climbs require surefootedness and mountain experience.

Remarks

  1. Exact value not known, stated value is a minimum value (can be up to 19 meters higher). It was determined from the distance between the contour lines (20 meters in altitude ) on a topographic map ( scale 1: 25,000).
