Unter dem Idtberg is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxony unified municipality of Delligsen in the Holzminden district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG HA 139 was around 19  hectares in size. It has been under nature protection since August 10, 1989. On March 2nd, 2018 it was opened in the newly designated " Idtberg " nature reserve . The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Holzminden.

The former nature reserve is located northwest of the Delligsener district Kaierde on a south to south-west exposed slope of the Idtberg im Hils . The area at the edge of the forest with a pronounced fringing of forest protected a dry limestone lawn on flat rocky weathered limestone. At the foot of the slope, grassland areas of different intensities are connected.

In order to preserve the dry grass, it is grazed with goats and sheep, which counteract the encroachment of the area. In addition, the area is mowed regularly.
