Untergimplach is a village in the municipality of Trofaiach in the Leoben district , Styria .
The village is located in the Trofaiach basin on the west side of Trofaiach and is drained by the Vordernberger Bach , a left tributary to the Mur . On January 1, 2020, the village had 150 inhabitants. It is directly attached to Trofaiach and is bordered by the Kehrwald in the west.
