Undaunted (noble family)
Unverzagt (also Herren von Unverzagt, Freiherrn von Unverzagt and Count von Unverzagt) is the name of a Lower Austrian noble family that was admitted to the Lower Austrian gentry in 1602 and raised to the imperial and hereditary counts in 1714. The sex is extinct in the male line. The name was taken over in 1839 by descendants of a female line or changed to Harnoncourt-Unverzagt.
history
Wolfgang Unverzagt (later Wolfgang von Unverzagt) was imperial councilor and treasurer of Rudolf II. The Unverzagt were gentlemen from Ebenfurth , Regelsbrunn and Retz . After the death of the last Countess Leopoldine von Unverzagt († March 6, 1835), her son Herbert de la Fontaigne, Count von Harnoncourt , took over her coat of arms in 1839 and called himself Harnoncourt-Unverzagt.

In the case of the four-sided shield, the upper two fields have a higher value, but the heart shield (with the coat of arms of the Counts of de la Fontaine and Harnoncourt ) refers to their priority.
