Uroš Peterka (born March 8, 1981 ) is a Slovenian ski jumper .
Career
Uroš Peterka mainly participated in jumping competitions of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup .
He achieved his first and best podium placement on January 26, 2002 in Westby , where he finished second behind the American Thomas Schwall . On February 10, 2002, Peterka reached his second and so far last podium in jumping in Gallio, Italy . For third place he jumped the current hill record of 105.5 m on the Trampolino del Pakstall facility . In the overall standings of the 2001/02 season , he finished 45th and thus achieved his best result. From the 2003 summer season, Peterka only competed in COC competitions in Slovenia. In his last competition on July 10, 2005, he was disqualified for a non-compliant suit.
His last international appearance at an FIS Cup in Ljubno brought him 8th place on January 22nd, 2006. At the Slovenian Ski Jumping Championships 2010 he reached 9th place in the team with Anže Lanišek , Jaka Kosec and Matjaž Pungertar .
Uroš Peterka is the younger brother of the former Slovenian ski jumper Primož Peterka .
