Ursula Lübbe Foundation

The Ursula Lübbe Foundation (spelling: Ursula Lübbe Foundation ) is a non-profit, legal foundation under civil law based in Bergisch Gladbach . It was founded in 2003 by the publisher Ursula Lübbe (1922–2016) for the book as a cultural asset and its intellectual environment.

purpose

The foundation has set itself the task of promoting education, art and culture, especially for children and young people, by focusing on the promotion of children and young talent as well as dealing responsibly with the key medium of books and audiovisual media. She would also like to promote cultural communication to future generations on the stage and in museums. The foundation's partners include: B. the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation and the Vienna State Opera . In 2007, the foundation launched the children's culture magazine KiKuMa. At the beginning of 2010, the editorial board, chaired by Bernd Neumann, included Ingrid Fischbach , Stephan Frucht, Max Hollein , Werner E. Klatten , Klaus-Dieter Lehmann , Eske Nannen , Markus Schächter and Jürgen Rüttgers .

Board

At the beginning of 2010, the board consisted of the publisher Stefan Lübbe as chairman and the rights dealer Marc Schneider. A board of trustees made up of experts, chaired by Walter Homolka , ensures that the goals set are met. Other members include Wolfgang Bosbach , Stefan von Holtzbrinck , Klaus-Dieter Lehmann and Georg Springer .
