Ursula Höpfner-Tabori

Ursula Höpfner-Tabori (born December 19, 1949 in Hanover ) is a German dancer and actress .

Life

Ursula Höpfner received training in ballet dance from 1967 to 1971 with Yvonne Georgi at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . From 1971 to 1972 she was engaged at the State Theater in Hanover , from 1973 to 1976 at the Bremen Theater with ballet director Johann Kresnik .

In 1975 she met George Tabori in Bremen and performed in his newly founded theater laboratory. In 1978 she went with him to the Münchner Kammerspiele , in 1981 to the Schauspielhaus Bochum , where she performed in Tabori pieces until 1984. On January 12, 1985, she married her partner in the old Bierbichler inn on Lake Starnberg .

In 1985/86 she continued to play with Tabori at the Münchner Kammerspiele, from 1986 to 1990 she was part of the ensemble of Tabori's experimental theater “ Der Kreis ” in Vienna. From 1990 to 1999 she worked at the Vienna Burgtheater , and since 1999 she has been part of the Berliner Ensemble .

Höpfner also appeared in numerous Tabori radio plays. Her style of play, which is characterized by dance, has both tragic and comical expressions. Film and television found hardly any use for the important theater actress.
