Ursula Keudel

Ursula Keudel (born April 26, 1940 in Witten ; † November 22, 1995 in Munich ) was a German classical philologist .

Ursula Keudel studied Classical Philology at the Free University of Berlin , where on April 26, 1968, a dissertation on Claudians poem De consulatu Stilichonis Dr. phil. received his doctorate . She had inspired Georg Nicolaus Knauer for her dissertation, in which she examined Claudian's dealings with his predecessors in Roman literature . She continued her career at the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae in Munich, where she was employed as a research assistant on June 1, 1968. She worked as an article writer, material collector and from 1976 to 1983 also as an editorial assistant. She retired on May 31, 1993.
