Ursula Kreutel
Ursula Kreutel (born September 14, 1965 in Leonberg ) is a former German discus thrower and was mayor of the Baden-Württemberg community of Weissach from 2006 to 2014 .
Athletic career
In 1990 Kreutel won the title at the last German championships before reunification with 63.96 m. She took part in the European Championships in 1990 in Split , where she finished seventh with 63.28 m. All in all, she competed in twelve international matches for the Federal Republic of Germany from 1986 to 1990.
Kreutel started for the Stuttgarter Kickers in 1980 . She achieved her best performance of 65.32 m on September 15, 1990 in Kamp-Lintfort.
Between 1994 and 2018, Kreutel was a member of the board of the Württemberg Lawn Power Sports and Tug of War Association as a woman warden .
Political career
In 1985 Kreutel passed the Abitur at the Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium in Leonberg . During her sporting career, she also studied administrative science , which she graduated in 1990. She then worked in the administration of the city of Stuttgart . From 2002 to 2006 she held the post of mayor in her home town of Höfingen . In 2006 she was elected mayor of Weissach as a non-party applicant . In 2014 she ran again for this office, but lost on July 27, 2014 in the second ballot. She was later investigated on suspicion of infidelity .
From 2004 she was a member of the district council in the district of Böblingen , her 15-year term of office ended after the municipal elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2019 .

Ursula Kreutel has a daughter.
