Ursula Röper

Ursula Röper (born July 6, 1944 in Bensheim ; † August 11, 2007 in Steinbergkirche ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Röper reached secondary school, completed a commercial apprenticeship and studied at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Werbefachschule Cologne with a degree as an advertising assistant. On her second educational path, she studied at the Flensburg University of Education and passed the 1st and 2nd state exams as a primary and secondary school teacher. Professionally she was a commercial clerk, worked in advertising, clerk, teacher and head of studies at the international educational institution Jugendhof Scheersberg .

Political career

In 1969 Röper became a member of the CDU, where she was chairwoman of the women's union in the Schleswig-Flensburg district and deputy chairwoman of the CDU Schleswig-Flensburg for many years . She was a board member of the German Schleswig working group and the Hermann Ehlers Foundation in Kiel. From May 5, 1992 to March 20, 2000, she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament and deputy chairwoman of the CDU parliamentary group there.

In 1996 she was directly elected in the Flensburg-Ost constituency.
