The Uruguayan national futsal team ( Spanish : Selección de fútbol sala de Uruguay ) is a representative selection of Uruguayan futsal players . The team represents the Uruguayan Football Association at international matches.

Uruguay took in 1996 , three years after the first international match for the first time at the FIFA discharged Futsal World Cup in part. The team was only eliminated in the second round. In the other World Cup participations in 2000 and 2008 Uruguay did not manage to survive the first group stage. For the World Championships in 2004, 2012 and 2016, the team missed the qualification.
