Darja Sergeyevna Klimina . born Ussanowa ( Russian Дарья Сергеевна Климина (Усанова) , English Darya Klimina (Usanova) ; born September 6, 1989 in Pavlodar , Kazakh SSR , USSR ) is a Kazakh biathlete .

Career

Darja Ussanowa made her international debut as part of the junior races at the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where she finished 15th in the sprint and 14th in the pursuit in cross-country races, and on roller skis she finished 28th in the sprint and reached the top as a lap runner not the goal in the pursuer. This was followed by the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby , in which the Kazakh woman finished 50th in the individual, 28th in the sprint, 29th in the pursuit and eleventh with the Kazakh relay. In the women's races Ussanowa started for the first time as part of the IBU Cup 2011/12 season opener in Idre . In her first sprint she won first points in 27th place and qualified for the World Cup opener a week later in Östersund with this performance . There she was in her first race, an individual, 56th, in the sprint two days later she won first World Cup points as 35th.

She has been married since 2017 and is now called Klimina .
