Ustja ( Ukrainian Устя ; Russian У́стья ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnyzkyj with about 520 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1403, is located at the mouth of the Smotrytsch in the Dniester , a Ukrainian Ramsar region , 110 km south of the Oblast capital Khmelnyzkyj . Territorial road T-23-25 runs through the village .
Ustya River was the administrative center of the same name, 83.54 km² district municipality with about 3000 inhabitants in the south of Kamenets District-Podilskyi to which even the villages Bahowyzja ( Баговиця ) Welyka Slobidka ( Велика Слобідка ), Mala Slobidka ( Мала Слобідка ) Tarasivka ( Тарасівка ), Zwikliwzi Druhi ( Цвіклівці Другі ) and Shutnivtsi ( Шутнівці ) belonged and has been part of the rural community of Slobidka-Kultschijewezka since 2019 .
Near the village is the geological natural monument Kanyliwska Swyta ( канилівська свита ) and runs the Trajan's Wall .
