Uta Koppel

Uta coupling (* 8. May 1936 in Bad Altheide , Silesia ; † 19 . December 2005 in Paderborn ) was a German writer .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1957, Koppel studied German language and literature and theater history in Mainz, Saarbrücken and Vienna. She passed her exams in philosophy and education and trained as an actress in Vienna and Wiesbaden. In 1963 she passed the stage maturity test. Since 1967 she lived in Paderborn. There she was active in education. From 1981 to 1983 Koppel had a teaching position at the University of Paderborn and since 1979 she has offered literature courses at the Adult Education Center in Paderborn. From 1988 to 1994 she did press work for the authors' association “Die Kogge”. She lived as a painter and writer in Paderborn.

  • Josef Dietzgen Prize (1980, 3rd prize) for the play The Atomic Bunker Game (Premiere Studiobühne Paderborn 1978)
