Members
Ute Tauscher (* 1962) grew up in Rostock. From 1981 she sang with the amateur dance group "Passat", from 1982 to 1983 in the dance and show band "Exzentra". Both bands were mainly in the north of the GDR. In 1982 she successfully took part in the "Golden Town Hall Man" in Dresden. There she took 2nd place with a composition by Gerd Michaelis. From 1984 she joined the singing quintet "Pique 5" from Berlin. There she met her future duet partner Jean Löffler and produced with him her first song "Halt mich" in an amateur studio in Halle. This song premiered on the TV show "Sprungbrett" in the fall of 1984 and was a surprise success. This was followed by countless television appearances. With the fall of 1989/1990, the duet was no longer able to build on the success of the previous 7 years. Today Ute Tauscher lives in Brandenburg and works as a singer in a show.
Jean Otto Löffler (born September 22, 1949) was born in Belgium and moved with his family to Halle (Saale) in 1951 . Because of his ties to the West, he was not allowed to work in the Society for Sports and Technology . In 1972 he was to be seen as a guitarist in the world premiere of the piece Die neue Leiden des young W. with Reinhard Straube in the leading role in Halle. He initially worked as a teacher of physics and polytechnics before his singing talent was discovered and he performed in a duo with his friend, Ute Tauscher. He worked as a pop singer until shortly after German reunification . Today he lives in Peißen-Zöberitz , works as a flight school director at the Halle-Oppin airfield and as a glider pilot and glider instructor at the Halle-Oppin flight club. V. active.
