Uwe Naumann

Uwe Naumann (* 1951 in Hamburg ) is a German author , editor and editor .

Life

Uwe Naumann was born in Hamburg. After studying German and sociology , he received his doctorate in 1983. In 1985 he started working as a lecturer at Rowohlt Verlag in Reinbek. He was the e-book coordinator and editor of the rowohlts monograph series . One of the main focuses of his work was dealing with the Mann family , mainly Erika and Klaus Mann , whose work he oversees. He wrote a monograph on Klaus Mann. He was also in charge of Heinar Kipphardt's work . From 2000 to 2012 he was program manager for non-fiction books at Rowohlt Verlag in Reinbek . Until he retired at the end of November 2016, he was the “ E-Book Coordinator ”. Since the end of his employment at Rowohlt, he has been a part-time lecturer at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg .
