Víctor Salvador Bernárdez Blanco (born May 24, 1982 in La Ceiba ) is a Honduran football player .

society

Born in La Ceiba, Bernárdez began his career with CD Motagua , CD Vida and again CD Motagua, with which he won the Central American Copa Interclubes UNCAF . Despite the experience he gained there before moving abroad, he initially failed in England and Germany. Finally, he was allowed to complete a trial training session at the Belgian first division club RSC Anderlecht , whereupon he got a contract and became a regular player there from the 2009/10 season. In the end he was able to book 14 games and one goal as well as the championship title.

On December 28, 2011, the San José Earthquakes announced that they would sign Bernárdez for the 2012 season. In the Quakes he completed 162 games in six years and scored six goals. After being without a new club for almost 18 months, Bernárdez joined the Oakland Roots in the third-rate National Independent Soccer Association in July 2019 .

National team

In the national team Muma made his debut in 2004 and qualified with Honduras for the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa, where he was used on June 25, 2010 against Switzerland . Also in 2014 Bernárdez was nominated for the Honduras' World Cup squad.
