The 1.71-meter-tall defender , known as Vitoco , is described as an all-rounder with good positional play. He was considered a tactically accomplished, complete defender who stood out with a certain ease in the header game and great confidence. He belonged to the club level from 1924 to 1925 the squad of the Chilean club Camilo Henríquez . He played for Colo-Colo for eleven seasons, specifically from 1926 to 1930 . At the latter club he made his debut on April 18, 1926 in the encounter against Santiago FC . During his club membership he was in 1928 and 1929 champions of the Liga Central de Football de Santiago . In the following year, he won the championship title of the Asociación de Fútbol de Santiago . In 1933 he celebrated winning the Copa Cesar Seoane title with his teammates .

National team

Morales was a member of the national team of his home country and participated with her in both the Campeonato Sudamericano 1924 and the same tournament in 1926 . He was also a member of Chile's squad at the 1928 Summer Olympics and the first football World Cup in 1930 . While he made three appearances against the national teams of Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands at the Olympic Games, he was on the field during the World Cup tournament in the games against Argentina and Mexico. In total, he completed ten internationals in Chile from his debut on October 19, 1924 to July 22, 1930.
