VSDC Free Video Editor is a nonlinear editing (NLE) application developed by Flash-Integro, LLC. The program can handle high-resolution footage, including 4K UHD, 3D and VR 360-degree videos. VSDC enables professional post-production effects and live color corrections to be applied, supports VirtualDub plug-ins, as well as the ability to record video from the screen, record voice and save multimedia files in a wide variety of formats including those for posting on Facebook , Vimeo , YouTube , Instagram and Twitter pre-configured formats.

Color correction
In addition to the standard tools for automatic adjustment of contrast, brightness and temperature, VSDC [7] offers professional color correction solutions:
- Color Correction Tables (LUTs)
- RGB curve that changes the aspect of the entire video or image per selected color (red, green, blue, or white).
- Hue saturation curves define the range of colors per six colors and allow the aspect of a video or image to be changed based on the selected color.

Audio processing
VSDC enables a video to be split into audio and video layers and processed as separate elements: as waveforms and video tracks.
Audio editing tools and effects:
The Audio Spectrum tool animates a waveform to the rhythm of music or other sounds.
The integrated voice-over function allows you to record and add speech to the footage.
Audio amplitude effects (normalization, fading in and out, amplification) help to correct a faulty soundtrack.
Delay, time stretch and reverse effects are coordinated so that audio tracks have a relevant sound: as if they were being sung from a chorus, stretched in time or played backwards.

Feedback
The PC Magazine lists the VSDC Free Video Editor under 10 free video editing tools as "all-rounder for fast video processing." It praises the usability and clarity of the program thanks to the ribbon concept. The less appealing design with small font and gray coloring is criticized. In addition, the user must be careful not to install adware on his computer at the same time during installation .
Also GIGA software , the download portal of technology online magazine "GIGA" praises the ease of use "combined with extensive functionality."
The editorial team of Foto Hits magazine describes the user interface of the Flash-Integro VSDC Video Editor as clear, but “some functions are somewhat hidden”.
