Vains of Jenna was a sleaze rock - band from Falkenberg , Sweden .

history

Little is known about the early days. The Vains of Jenna were formed from two sleaze rock bands, both of which were heavily influenced by well-known rock bands such as Mötley Crüe , WASP , Guns N 'Roses , Hanoi Rocks and the Rolling Stones . Since then they have consisted of the members Lizzy DeVine vocals and rhythm guitar , Nicki Kin lead guitar , JP White bass and Jacki Stone drums . They met former Guns-N'-Roses rhythm guitarist Gilby Clarke early on , who immediately liked the band. He decided to record a demo EP with them. This was simply called "The Demos" and features a cover of Jumpin Jack Flash from the Rolling Stones. Skateboard star Bam Margera became aware of the band in a bar and invited them to come to his label. In 2006, just one year after they were founded, their debut album Lit Up / Let Down was released . In addition, the song Don't Give a Damn became the theme song for Bam's Unholy Union . The four members now live in the USA and have worked with some bands such as B. White Lion toured. In 2007 the single Enemy in me was released. Shortly thereafter, Bam Margera's label split from the Vains of Jenna. With a new label, the new album The Art Of Telling Lies was released in 2009, which was recorded in Sweden. Instead, the single Get It On was released in July 2009 .

Jimmy "Lizzy Devine" Johansson (2007)

In 2010, Vains of Jenna confirmed that the band and singer Lizzy DeVine were going their separate ways. For this, the new singer Jesse Forte was introduced on the band's Myspace page. After the cover album Reverse Tripped in 2011, the band announced the breakup on their Myspace page in 2012.

Later projects

In 2015 Lizzy DeVine founded the band The Cruel Intentions with Mats Wernerson (bass) and the Norwegians Eiliv Sagrusten (drums) and Kristian Nygaard Solhaug (guitar). They released a video for the song Borderline Crazy without promoting an album. In addition, the piece Stare at the Sun appeared . He had previously appeared as a solo singer and guest singer.
