Valentin Marius Lazăr (born August 21, 1989 in Ploieşti ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Dinamo Bucharest since 2020 .

Career

Lazar started playing football at the age of seven with Petrolul Ploiesti . After he had gone through all youth teams, he rose in 2007 to the squad of the first team that played in League II at the time . There he came to his first assignments in the 2007/08 season . In 2009 he left his home club and joined Chimia Brazi in League III . In the summer of 2011 he signed first division Sportul Studențesc . There he became a regular in midfield, but could not prevent the club's relegation at the end of the 2011/12 season . He remained Sportul in Liga II, but missed the entire second half of 2013 .

In the summer of 2013, Lazar moved to Dinamo Bucharest . Here he was part of the team from the start. In September 2015 he was loaned to league competitor CS Concordia Chiajna for a few months .
