Valentina Tuchel (born October 14, 1965 in Jemwa , Komi Republic , Russia ) is a Bremen politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

From 1972 to 1982 Tuchel attended general school in the small town of Jemwa in the Soviet Union. From 1982 to 1987 she studied educational science with a focus on pedagogy and Slavic philology at the University of Syktywkar in the Russian federal district of northwestern Russia . From 1995 to 1999 she studied educational science with a specialization in Slavic philology and a focus on intercultural pedagogy and literary studies at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg , which she completed with a master's degreecompleted. From 1995 to 2004 she studied sociology , philosophy and Romance studies at the University of Bremen . She has been working as a social pedagogue at the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) Bremen in the Migration Service since 1999 .

Valentina Tuchel came to Germany as a resettler , is married and has two children.

Valentina Tuchel has been a member of the SPD since 2005 and a member of the board of the local SPD association Neue Vahr since 2006 . From 2009 to 2011 she was a member of the social committee in the advisory board of the Bremen-Vahr district . From 2007 to 2011 she was a member of the Deputation for Home Affairs in the citizenry.

She has been a member of Bremen's citizenship since June 8, 2011 .
