Valentino Cardinal Mastrozzi

Valentino Mastrozzi (born July 25, 1729 in Terni , † May 13, 1809 in Rome ) was an Italian cardinal of the Roman Church and employee of the Curia .

Life

Mastrozzi came from a noble family from Terni. He studied theology and was already under Clement XIII. used in the curial economic administration. Pope Pius VII elevated him to cardinalate in the consistory of February 23, 1801 and appointed him cardinal priest with the titular church of San Lorenzo in Panisperna . He was laid out in San Marcello Rome, his funeral mass was conducted by Cardinal Subdean Alessandro Mattei . He was buried in his titular church San Lorenzo in Panisperna .
