There is also the hermit chapel of Sant Gil ( Sankt Gogidius ) in the valley , a hotel, a small hydroelectric power station , a few lifts and a reservoir that supplies the water for the snowmaking systems in winter . The Alberg Pic de l'Àliga youth hostel is located above the reservoir .

The extensive and almost tree-free area around the sanctuary offers numerous hiking opportunities away from the hustle and bustle, all of which are well signposted. From the ridges and almost 3000 m high peaks you have a magnificent view of the French and Spanish Eastern Pyrenees. Individual mountain bike tours are also signposted.

The ski area in Vall de Núria comprises 4 lifts (1 gondola lift , 1 chair lift and 2 button lifts ), which open up a total of 10 ski slopes of all levels of difficulty.
