Valter Pecly Moreira

Valter Pecly Moreira (born July 27, 1948 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian diplomat .

Life

Valter Pecly Moreira is married to Marie-Hélène Michelas Moreira and has three children. He studied law , received a Bachelor of Laws from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and entered the foreign service in 1972.

First, Moreira was taken over in Brasília from 1972 to 1974 , before he was deployed in Buenos Aires from 1974 to 1977 and in Bonn from 1977 to 1981 . He then returned to Brasilia, where he was employed in the Europe Department from 1981 to 1983 and then in the diplomatic archives until 1985 and then as deputy master of ceremonies until 1987. From 1987 to 1991 it was used again abroad in Geneva and from 1991 to 1993 in Asunción .

From April 12, 2000 to June 17, 2004 he represented the Brazilian government at the Organization of American States and was then transferred to Asunción as ambassador until 2008 . He then held the exequatur as consul general in London until 2010 and headed the Itamarity branch in the historic Itamaraty Palace in Rio de Janeiro from 2010 to 2013. Since September 4th 2013 he has been accredited as ambassador in Budapest .
